Bring the Gro-Town enrichment program to your school!
The Gro-Town Healthy Communities program provides ten comprehensive enrichment units for pre-K through second grade students. Each enrichment unit includes:
- A short, low stimulation, representational video featuring growing basics, original music, and community connection (4-7 minutes long)
- Indoor activity option
- Outdoor activity option
- Original coloring artwork from local artists
- Family engagement correspondence (‘Gro-Notes’)
- Supplementary book recommendation list
- Every other week will include a short podcast to encourage listening skills and introduce students to members of the community including farmers, scientists, librarians, authors, teachers, and more. (5-8 minutes long)
- Every membership includes a fully stocked Gro-Town Seed Station seed library. Students may choose from hundreds of seed packets to embark upon their very own healthy gardening journeys at home.
